DESCRIPTION

Pletunia is a family project created to showcase and sell my wife’s art pieces, starting with handmade postcards. The website has limited functionality at the moment and only allows users to browse and order these unique postcards (no copies - attach photos), but there are plans for the future: more features (e. g., a fully functional shopping cart) and additional products (e. g., postcard constructors and friendship bracelets - attach photos).

EXPERIENCE NOTE

Building Pletunia is quite personal for me, as we are trying to create a place that could boost my wife’s endeavors in paper art and mine in frontend development. From the very beginning, I realized that Next.js was an overkill for this kind of project, but I was interested in learning its basics and, additionally, it offers great scalability.

At the moment, the project is on hold but not abandoned, as my wife is busy with work. We do have plans for further growth — wish us luck!
